What is the “Future of Senior Fitness?”

 

The Future of Senior Fitness is a series of television episodes created in partnership with host Myles Dias, (Master Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist), ‘ÅŒlelo Community Media and other community minded organizations; designed to educate older adults about the importance of exercise , health, and fitness in their Fifties, Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, and beyond!

 

The series originally aired on ʻŌlelo Community Media channel 54 on Saturday March 5th, 2016 at 5:30 P.M. It is being aired again in entirety on ʻŌlelo Community Media channel 54 beginning on January 3, 2018 on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am .  Video copies of each episode will be available on ww.futureofseniorfitness.com located under the videos tab. The video episodes will be released simultaneously with the ‘Olelo broadcast dates and times.

 

The shows will help older adults, their families, and friends, understand how the body ages, how to get the most out of healthy activities and exercising, how to avoid pain and injury, how to feel better and enjoy life more through healthy lifestyle choices, and how to get the tools to maintain their independence and enhance the quality of their lives.
